Associate Director of Digital Marketing

Job Description

The role of our Associate Director of Digital Marketing is to define and lead strategic work within our client’s digital ecosystems. The preferred candidate understands all forms of Paid/Digital Advertising, has designed and implemented tracking/tagging systems, and is comfortable overseeing a team that generates this type of work. This person will also have foundational knowledge of SEO, CRMs, Email Automation, Content Marketing, and Social. The person who best works in this fast-paced environment is a lifelong, eager leader who soaks up knowledge and is able to adjust quickly to given situations. Our ideal candidate

  • 7+ years of experience working in Google Ads/AdWords
  • 7+ years of experience working in Google Tag Manager, as it relates to PPC and success/goal tracking
  • 7+ years of experience working in Facebook/Instagram and LinkedIn
  • 7+ years of experience working in Google Data Studio
  • Ability to define, generate, and setup Google Analytics Goals
  • Perform Keyword Research as it relates to Paid Search and SEO support
  • Ability to make decisions regarding optimizations with minimal direction
  • An in-depth understanding of PPC, display advertising, remarketing, etc
  • Previous client experience having ongoing calls to discuss performance & strategy

What you will be responsible for

For our larger clients you will:
  • Plan, manage, and execute highly-targeted pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, including strategy development, organization, optimization, and post-campaign reporting
  • Manage day-to-day expectations, budgets, optimization strategies and conversions for a variety of clients
  • Host and/or participate in client calls to provide updates on campaign performance
  • Oversee, mentor and grow internal SEO and SEM staff and contractors
For all of our clients you will:
  • Continuous monitoring of trends, best practices and industry standards to ensure top website ranking and identify new opportunities for clients
  • Set process/tools and review your team’s work to ensure quality
  • Ability to collect and analyze data leveraging a variety of data sources to create monthly client reports
  • Generate monthly client reporting (Google Data Studio) and holding monthly meetings with clients regarding performance
  • Keep pace with PPC industry trends and developments
  • Communication with management on projects and results
  • Work closely other team members (SEO, social media, etc.) to meet client goals
