Senior SEO Manager

Collaborative, detail-oriented SEO leader

We’re looking for an SEO Specialist — an experienced, highly-motivated, and detail-oriented individual who can be the go-to for tactical planning, execution, management, analysis, and ongoing optimization of client SEO programs. This will require deep integration with the client, agency partners, and internal teams.

  • Attend regular meetings with the client and/or other agencies
  • Perform keyword research and develop on-page optimizations
  • Respond to SEO questions and inquiries via written deliverables, email, or phone
  • Comment on creative work to ensure SEO integrity is upheld with site redesigns or refreshes
  • Pitch new content ideas based on relevance to the client and backed by search demand
  • Ensure SEO best practices are applied across all agency teams
  • Conduct technical audits and troubleshoot client websites
  • QA implemented optimizations to ensure accuracy
  • Work with the SEM team to drive best practices
  • Communicate SEO strategy and development of projects timelines and progress to key internal stakeholders
  • Identify new opportunities for improving client’s organic search rankings, traffic, and conversions
  • Conduct onsite and offsite competitive analysis
  • Create and deliver reports on monthly/quarterly basis
  • Organize and maintain the BrightEdge reporting platform
  • Research and analyze industry changes and developments in SEO techniques, tools and methodologies, etc.
  • Regularly work on new business pitches and RFPs


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years direct experience in search engine optimization role
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage tasks within multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to collaborate across all levels, both internal and client facing
  • Experience participating as a team lead for site redesign projects
  • Understanding of the concepts around collaborating with paid search, conversion, and content marketing teams
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong proficiency of SEO applications, tools, and web analytics packages, particularly Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Intermediate knowledge of website development and structure
  • Intermediate understanding of web design and UX best practices
  • Maintains a positive attitude and remains flexible in times of change
  • Experience working with popular SEO tools: BrightEdge, SEM Rush, ScreamingFrog, DeepCrawl preferred
  • Experience with WordPress
